Last May 29st he allegedly stabbed a XNUMX-year-old man in the chest several times with a knife, causing him very serious injuries that led doctors to reserve the prognosis.
Today the turning point: the Carabinieri of the company of Sorrento they executed an arrest warrant issued by the Torre Annunziata Public Prosecutor's Office against GB (these are the initials of the arrested person), aged 21.
The military managed to reconstruct the phases of a violent brawl that took place in the centre of Sorrento, outside a nightclub, a brawl during which three people were injured, one of whom was in critical condition.
According to investigators, it all started with an altercation inside the club between two groups from Pimonte and Castellammare di Stabia, which then degenerated into a violent brawl during which the twenty-nine-year-old was stabbed several times in the chest with a knife.
On that occasion, the military had already arrested, in flagrante delicto, four young people involved in the brawl, collecting the first useful elements for the continuation of the investigations and the identification of the author of the stabbing, who in the meantime had become untraceable.
At the time of validation of the arrest, two of the arrested subjects, belonging to the Castellammare di Stabia faction, were subjected to the personal precautionary measure of house arrest, while the other two, from Pimonte, were subjected to the personal precautionary measure of the obligation to remain in their place of residence.
”The investigations – explains the public prosecutor of Torre Annunziata, Nunzio Fragliasso – have also allowed the identification of another individual, belonging to the Pimonte faction, involved in the aggravated brawl, to whom the investigating judge of the Torre Annunziata court, at the request of this Prosecutor's Office, has applied the personal precautionary measure of the obligation to remain at home.
The analysis of the images from the public and private video surveillance systems in the area, and the testimonial information collected, have allowed us to outline a circumstantial framework of significant gravity with regard to the criminal responsibility of the arrested person, who, during the fight, allegedly stabbed the victim in the chest several times with a switchblade, who was transported to the local hospital in serious conditions, with a reserved prognosis".
The arrested person is charged with attempted murder (with the aggravating circumstance of having committed the act for trivial reasons), aggravated brawl and unjustified possession of a knife. The twenty-one-year-old is now in the Naples prison of Secondigliano, where he turned himself in after having been untraceable for days, disappearing after the events that occurred on the night of May 1st and therefore making it necessary to adopt an arrest warrant.
