Royal Palace of Caserta: 102 thousand visitors in August. Record since 2014. The Museum staff worked tirelessly.
The Royal Palace of Caserta has seen a record number of visitors in August since it became an independent museum in 2014. In fact, there were 102 admissions certified by the surveys of the management entrusted to Tiziana Maffei.
Contributing to this is the consensus achieved for the two ongoing exhibitions, 'Fragments of Paradise – Gardens over Time at the Royal Palace of Caserta' and 'The Little Prince – Giuseppe Sanmartino at the Royal Palace of Caserta', but also the initiatives proposed and the promotional activity of the Vanvitellian monumental complex which has increased in recent years also abroad.
The museum staff has worked tirelessly to welcome the public, despite the staff shortage that has been highlighted several times and that has led the management to concentrate its efforts on individual projects so as not to shirk its role as a major cultural attraction for the territory. Of the over 100 visitors, more than 25 are under 25.
“The restoration sites underway and soon to open, the numerous administrative procedures that involve us to accelerate the necessary and urgent interventions of redevelopment and expansion of services have never made us fail to achieve our main objective – Maffei underlines – welcome and make the most of the extraordinary cultural experience that the Reggia offers. Our visitors have shown great appreciation for the current exhibitions, created with the aim of communicating the profound values of this place. I always thank all the staff who in the past, very hot and intense, weeks have managed to face our museum mission”.
