NSS magazine celebrates its 10th anniversary with a Neapolitan block party and the transformation of a newsstand into a cultural point. DJ set and limited edition t-shirts for the anniversary of the Milanese media with a Neapolitan heart
A return to the origins for the editors of nss magazine, an online portal of streetwear and street culture born in Naples ten years ago and then moved to Milan. An editorial team mostly from Naples scans, analyzes, criticizes and anticipates the times on Italian and international fashion and culture. Since the beginning, the goal of nss magazine has always been the same: cultural hunting, to immortalize and tell today what will become a phenomenon tomorrow.
Founded in 2013 by Walter Aprile, Vincenzo Schioppa and Simon Laudati, nss magazine is a point of reference for the best brands that make fashion a lifestyle and has become a point of reference especially for fashion enthusiasts and everything that revolves around it such as sport, music, visual design with an international community of over five hundred thousand followers.
After the success of the celebrations in Milan, nssx returns home. From December 6 to 15, the editorial office moves to Naples, in Piazza San Pasquale a Chiaia, transforming the historic newspaper kiosk in the small square in front of the church into an artistic and informative point where it will be possible to listen to good music and taste Neapolitan street food. The initiative, once again, will unite physical and digital, merging the two souls that have always distinguished the commitment of nss magazine.
"Celebrating our history in Naples is a right and a duty! Reuniting with our local community, after ten years of growth around the world, means for us a new starting point towards even more important goals” declares Walter D'Aprile, CEO and Co-founder of nss. “Ten creatives, brands and media have visually reinterpreted their relationship with nss and we have made t-shirts out of them that will be on sale at the symbolic price of 10 euros, together with a series of accessories (scarves, beanies and socks) branded nssx.”
"The target – adds April – is to tell a different vision of Naples, and our birthday is a good reason to propose an innovative concept for the city, elevating it culturally and also bringing together many media in the sector and international guests who, mixed with designers and local realities, can offer the best possible version of the city.”
The appointment to gather readers and fans of nss is December 8th, from 10 am to 10 pm in Piazza San Pasquale for a Neapolitan block party with food offered by Antica Salumeria Malinconico. The block party (with entrance by reservation at the link https://nssx.nssmag.com) will then continue at The Sequel Club (vicolo Santa Maria Cappella Vecchia XNUMX) with the DJ set by Vincenzo Paccone & Friends and with the house music of the English DJ Jordan Vickors. The party will also be attended by international media and talents who have contributed to the creation of nssx. A way of understanding the media that has always been collaborative, an artistic and educational ecosystem that has led nss over the years to collaborate with European, American and Asian realities.
Among these will be guests and protagonists Andrea Grossi head of design of Diesel; Culted media of street culture and English fashion; Concettina ai 3 Santi historic pizzeria; Gilda Ambrosio designer of The Attico, Neapolitan doc among the most influential and successful young Italian designers; Domenico Formichetti designer, stylist and art director for much of the rap and trap scene of recent years, from Sfera Ebbasta to Dark Polo.
