The intervention was triggered by several overflights by the aircraft in service with the Campania flight department which, thanks to the latest generation sensors installed on board the PH139-D helicopters, have allowed us to map the affected territory, highlighting the alterations to the morphology of an area subject to landscape constraints.
Illicit business activity
The irrational entrepreneurial activity carried out has, among other things, caused, in contempt of all environmental protection regulations, the irreversible deviation of the path and natural profile of a riverbed present on a hillside, further damaging an area that has always been at risk of hydrogeological damage.
The military's activity has therefore allowed the precautionary seizure of a site of approximately 116.000 m3.000.000 and the identification of an illegal landfill where approximately XNUMX cubic metres of demolition and construction waste were disposed of in complete irregularity.
