'Titanic' Returns to UCI Cinemas in Restored 3D

From February 9th, the famous feature film directed by James Cameron returns to the big screens of UCI Cinemas and, to celebrate its 25th anniversary, will be re-released in a completely remastered 3D version.

Advance ticket sales for this new version of Titanic at UCI Cinemas are now open. Distributed by The Walt Disney Company Italia, Titanic 3D will be shown at UCI multiplexes throughout the Valentine's Day period.

An unmissable opportunity to relive the love story between Jack and Rose, played by the then very young Leonardo di Caprio and Kate Winslet, through the 3D cinematic experience that the UCI Circuit offers to spectators, with particular reference to the one that can be experienced in the IMAX theaters of UCI Porta di Roma, UCI Orio and UCI Luxe Campi Bisenzio, which combine unprecedented resolution with a special conformation of the room, a curved screen that is larger than traditional ones and laser-aligned speakers; and in the iSense theaters of UCI Fiumara, UCI Luxe Maximo, UCI Parco Leonardo, UCI Casoria, UCI Catania, UCI Lissone and UCI RomaEst, specifically designed to give films the highest quality of sound and image thanks to 4K projectors and Dolby Atmos® speakers.

Titanic won 11 Academy Awards®, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Film Editing, Best Production Design, Best Costume Design, Best Original Score, Best Original Song, Best Sound Mixing, Best Sound Editing, and Best Visual Effects. When it was first released in 1997, the film became the number one worldwide box office hit of all time and is currently the third highest-grossing film worldwide.
