The new baby criminals of the Spanish Quarters have been brought to justice. And so the calm and serenity of going out on the streets without danger from Pignasecca to Montesanto can return.
This morning, in fact, the Flying Squad executed a precautionary order, issued by the GIP of the Court of Naples, at the request of the local Anti-Mafia District Directorate, with which the precautionary measures of custody in prison were applied against Minieri Ciro and his brother Nicola, considered seriously suspected of having committed, on 6.3.2022, an armed robbery of two Rolex watches of considerable value, in collaboration with D'Avino Raffaele, subjected, instead, for the same facts, to the measure of house arrest.
Instead, Ammendola Luigi, De Stefano Nicodemo and Miano Francesco Pio ended up under house arrest, seriously suspected of having illegally detained and brought two pistols into a public place, in collaboration with Minieri Nicola and some minors.
In particular, De Crescenzo Ciro, seriously suspected of having shot Minieri Ciro on 15 December 2021, with the aggravating circumstance of having committed the injuries by taking advantage of the conditions set out in Article 416 bis of the Criminal Code;
The group was also involved in two shootings with injuries. The first was triggered by the suspicion that the intended victim, Nicola Minieri, had taken part in the theft of the “wrong” scooter.
The second one was instead triggered by the thirst for revenge for the raid suffered, and in which an innocent person was injured, Antonio Giarnieri, whose only “fault” was being the brother of Mario, one of the hitmen of the commando believed to be responsible.
Below are the details of the recipients of the measures:
