It might seem like a documentary on the buildings of a ghost town, but instead it is an inspection of the Foscolo-Oberdan elementary school in Salita Pontecorvo in Napoli where decay, rather than education, is the real protagonist.
The inspection was carried out by the mother of a pupil who turned to the deputy of the Green-Left alliance Francesco Emilio Borrelli:
"I am shocked, this school is as it was 30 years ago, they have never done any renovation work. But can these be the conditions in which our children have to study?".
"We have sent a note to the school management and the municipal offices to have a clear picture of the situation. We believe it is appropriate to sit down at a table to find a solution to this degradation and to put young students in a position to carry out their teaching in safe and dignified conditions." - declares Borrelli - "School dropout, one of the major problems of our territory, cannot be fought in this way. The school must be rehabilitated."
