The third edition of R-Evolution – Theatrical practices beyond the South is starting, a project dedicated to artists, authors and creatives under 35, which will give the opportunity to young playwrights, directors, actors, producers/organizers, set designers, graphic designers, who live in marginal geographical areas and/or in socially fragile territories, to live an artistic experience in an international context.
R-Evolution promotes a professional path in the field of contemporary creation, encouraging intercultural dialogue and the empowerment of young artists' careers. Through a cycle of creative residencies, meetings and discussions, to be held in the countries participating in the project, with the support of tutors, artists will have the opportunity to design a project to present in the partners' locations, as part of a widespread Festival, which will be the final destination of the path undertaken.
R-Evolution is produced by Nuovo Teatro Sanità of Naples in partnership with Sardegna Teatro, Scena Nuda, Festival Primavera dei Teatri, Centro cultural Recoleta (Argentina), FIBA festival (Argentina), Teatro Regional Biobío (Chile), Santiago Off festival (Chile), INAE (Uruguay), Implosivo Arte Escenicas (Uruguay), Festival Brújula al Sur (Colombia), Artemrede (Portugal), Município de Torres Vedras (Portugal), Zoukak Theatre (Lebanon), Théâtre El Hamra (Tunisia), with the support of the Ministry of Culture (MiC).
