A 51-year-old man was attacked and set on fire by his neighbor in Via Curielli, in Cervinara, in the province of Avellino.
The argument, which was apparently the latest between the two, escalated when the 51-year-old was hit by a can of gasoline poured on him by his neighbor, who then set him on fire.
The man was rushed to the “San Pio” hospital in Benevento, where he was treated for burns all over his body. His condition is serious and it was necessary to transfer him to the Burns Centre of the Cardarelli hospital in Naples.
