Promote food culture and tell the origin of traditional dishes through an innovative and immersive experience.
It was born with this aim in via Bracco 51 in Napoli Mute, the first museum of food and wine tradition Campana, from an idea of the entrepreneur Diego Minutaglio with the lawyer Luigi Lamberti, and the contribution of the Campania Region.
A thousand square meters on three floors in via Bracco, Mute enhances the culture of food and tells the origin of traditional dishes within an innovative and immersive experience from an idea of the entrepreneur Diego Minutaglio with the lawyer Luigi Lamberti: inauguration on December 20th at 19pm.
Seven windows on the street, over a thousand square meters divided into three floors, between exhibition rooms belonging to the history of Neapolitan and Campania cuisine, and specific areas dedicated to events and educational workshops where technological innovation will be a precious ingredient.
On Wednesday 20 December at 10 am the first level will be open, where you can taste the dairy and delicatessen products of the “casadduoglio”, the seafood sausages, the light and crunchy pizza in the ruoto, the corner with the typical fried cuoppi and many products selected by experts from large and small businesses in Campania.
On the other levels still under construction, you can attend the exhibition of the Neapolitan artist Giotto Calendoli, entitled “Manodopera”, to tell the visceral relationship with the city that has always been nourished by colors and flavors among installations, artwork, illustrations, merchandising, dishes, and the possibility of tasting its cuisine and buying everything you touch.
The exhibition can be visited free of charge from 10 am to 18 pm and will remain open until December 24, when those levels will return to the hands of the workers for the completion of the works scheduled for mid-2024.
