The Carabinieri of the Benevento company have executed a custodial order against a 44-year-old from the Sannio capital, accused of aggravated sexual violence against a minor girl.
The investigations, coordinated by the Prosecutor's Office Benevento, were triggered following a report from the director of a school complex in Benevento to the Carabinieri and the complaint filed by the girl's parent.
Thanks to the acquisition of telephone records and chats, as well as house searches and the seizure of various materials, the Carabinieri quickly gathered evidence against the man.
It has been reconstructed that the man, abusing the family relationship established with the girl, would have threatened to beat her and, on several occasions since December 2022, would have forced her to perform and undergo sexual intercourse.
The man allegedly continued to threaten the girl in an attempt to persuade her not to tell her mother about the abuse she had suffered.
The investigating judge of Benevento accepted the request of the Sannio Prosecutor's Office for the precautionary measure of detention in prison, also considering that the man, even after learning that the girl had started to talk about the violence she had suffered, continued to contact her and send her further threats.

The girl, who is 16 years old, found the courage to report the violence she suffered thanks to the support of her family and the police.
