The prison police carried out an extraordinary search in the cell of a Camorra boss inside the prison of Avellino, where ten new cell phones still wrapped in cellophane, five handsets and thirty grams of a suspicious substance, probably cocaine, were discovered.
A discovery that highlights the lack of safety and legality in the penitentiary structure, demonstrating the constant presence of risky situations.
The Secretary General of OSAPP-Penitentiary Police, Leo Beneduci, expressed the need to strengthen the staff and the work and protection tools for the Penitentiary Police Corps, as well as the reorganization of the national penitentiary policy.
