Good news for school buildings in Caserta: work will soon begin on two important interventions concerning the “Ruggiero” middle school and the “Da Vinci – Lorenzini” comprehensive institute.
The start of work on these two institutes represents an important step towards improving the city's educational offering and creating more comfortable and functional school environments for students.
“Da Vinci – Lorenzini” Comprehensive Institute:
The project, financed with 824 thousand euros from the PNRR (Programme “Futura – School for the Italy of Tomorrow”), involves the expansion of the current structure with the construction of a new body on a single floor.
The new building will house a canteen capable of accommodating all the students of the institute.
“We are working to offer our children cutting-edge, safe and technologically advanced schools, equipped with modern laboratories and gyms,” declared the mayor of Caserta Carlo Marino.
“Ruggiero” Middle School:
Located in the Acquaviva district, it will be completely demolished and rebuilt.
The new building, worth 2,3 million euros, will be built as part of PINQUA (National Innovative Program for Quality of Living) and is part of a larger urban redevelopment project worth 15 million euros.
The school will be modern, sustainable and accessible, with particular attention to energy efficiency and the removal of architectural barriers.
Among the new features, the installation of solar panels, a cutting-edge electrical system and highly energy-efficient fixtures.
A multipurpose gym will also be built for the practice of various sports disciplines.
