Naples. The Court of Appeal of Naples has confirmed the precautionary detention in prison for Massimiliano Di Caprio, believed to be the manager of the pizzeria “Dal Presidente” in Naples.

DiCaprio was arrested on May 14 by the financial police of the Economic and Financial Police Unit and by agents of the Naples Flying Squad as part of an investigation coordinated by the Naples Prosecutor's Office into money laundering by the Contini clan, part of the Camorra federation Alleanza di Secondigliano.
For DiCaprio's wife, Deborah Capassor instead, the Review Court has ordered house arrest, confirming the same precautionary measure already applied to the police officer of the Avellino traffic section, Guido Albano involved in the same investigation.
Pizzeria “Dal Presidente” seized but open for ordinary management
Pizzerias were also seized in the investigation “From the President” on Via dei Tribunali, a bakery, a travel agency, five apartments and 412 thousand euros in cash.
The investigations, conducted by the Naples District Anti-Mafia Directorate, led to the issuing of several precautionary custody orders, following which DiCaprio and the other suspects were arrested on May 14.
