Naples. The Naples Court of Review has confirmed the pre-trial detention of Massimiliano DiCaprio, believed to be the manager of the "Dal Presidente" pizzeria in Naples.
DiCaprio was arrested on May 14 by the Financial Police Unit and officers of the Naples Flying Squad as part of an investigation coordinated by the Naples Prosecutor's Office into money laundering by the Contini clan, part of the Alleanza di Secondigliano Camorra federation.
For DiCaprio's wife, Deborah Capassor instead, the Review Court has ordered house arrest, confirming the same precautionary measure already applied to the police officer of the Avellino traffic section, Guido Albano involved in the same investigation.

Pizzerias were also seized in the investigation. "From the President" on Via dei Tribunali, a bakery, a travel agency, five apartments and 412 thousand euros in cash.
The investigation, conducted by the Naples District Anti-Mafia Office, led to the issuance of several precautionary custody orders, following which DiCaprio and the other suspects were arrested on May 14.
