Terra fuochi, the prefect of Naples meets the mayors of the northern area

The activity to combat the phenomenon is producing “important results”.

The said prefect of Naples, Michele of Bari, who is meeting this afternoon in the collegiate church of Santa Sofia in Giugliano is meeting the mayors of the area north of Napoli and the representatives of the committees on waste fires that are recorded in the area bordering the provinces of Naples and Caserta.

Also present were the bishop of Aversa, Angelo Spinillo, and representatives of the police and army forces, engaged in checks. It was up to the vice-prefect Ciro Silvestro to take stock of the activities carried out.

The real goal is to interrupt the chain of the spill but also to promptly remove the spilled waste.
