Naples. Looking at their criminal history makes one think that these are characters who have been involved in the Neapolitan underworld for years.
But no. They are all young people between 21 and 24 with important relatives of old Camorra bosses from the Spanish Quarters. They are trigger-happy young people, always ready for a fight.
The police arrested six young men yesterday: Giuseppe Cavaliere, Emanuele Caiazzo, Salvatore Delle Rosse, Luigi Ammendola, Cristian Uccello and Mimini Beskin. They are considered the instigators, perpetrators and supporters of the failed murder of 27 June against Nunzio Saltalamacchia (who was only slightly injured) and the attempted murder of the young waiter Alessio Bianco.
While Francesco Marino, a friend of Saltalamacchia, was injured in the escape during the shooting, falling and suffering some abrasions.
The six are accused to varying degrees of attempted triple murder at the port and possession of firearms, all aggravated by mafia methods. Despite their young age, they are people already known to investigators.
Giuseppe Cavaliere - as reported by Il Roma - lives in the Quartieri, but frequents via Sedile di Porto and was once seen in the company of members of the Trongone group; Salvatore Delle Rosse is the cousin of the imprisoned boss Vincenzo Masiello, known as “'cucù” (not involved in the affair); Emanuele Caiazzo, originally from Bagnoli and with ties to the Espositos, was arrested at the beginning of July together with Delle Rosse by the police of the San Giovanni-Barra police station for possession of a pump-action shotgun.
The three are believed to be the organizers of the punitive expedition against Nunzio Saltalamacchia. The ones who fired were Luigi Ammendola, already involved in an investigation into the Minieri brothers' underworld, and Cristian Uccello, the least known of all.
Finally, Mimini Beskin, a friend of Cavaliere, allegedly participated in the action by picking up the perpetrators at Banchi Nuovi and hiding them in his home in Castel Volturno.

The investigations of the police officers of the Flying Squad, led by the director Giovanni Leuci, started from the images of the video surveillance and continued with telephone and environmental interceptions, checks on motorbike passages before and after the ambush, and on the clothing worn by the suspects. And finally the control of the social profiles of the young people.
The investigations began with an event that had occurred in the previous days: the argument between Nunzio Saltalamacchia's group and Cavaliere's. Thus, presumably, the investigators took the lead they thought was right.
The motive for the attack could be twofold: the first to mark the territory from a criminal point of view and the second for sentimental reasons for a girl who lives in Banchi Nuovi. The validation hearing is scheduled for today, in the presence of defense lawyers Alberto Mazziotti and Francesco Esposito.
