Ischia sanctions for illegal B&Bs and managers of nightlife venues

The peak month of summer has arrived and Ischia the carabinieri of the local company are carrying out widespread checks.

The wide-ranging operation targets commercial ports and accommodation facilities, without neglecting places of movida island. In the end, 11 people will be reported.

In Forio, the Carabinieri of the local station reported the owner of a holiday home on Via Provinciale Lacco. The entrepreneur had not registered the three guests who were inside the structure.

Also in Forio, the owner of a bar in Piazza Municipio was reported along with his bartender for selling alcoholic cocktails to minors. The Carabinieri caught the two while they were selling alcoholic beverages to two kids aged 13 and 15. The bar will be proposed for the application of article 100 of the Tulps.

Furthermore, there are two owners of a restaurant in Via Marina reported for disturbing people's occupations and rest. Loud music in the club complete with a DJ after 1am. Deadline according to the Mayor's ordinance.

Same fate for the owner of another place in via Cristoforo Colombo.

Six traders were fined for occupying public land with their tables, chairs, billboards and stalls without any authorization and in spite of the tourists who were forced to walk in long "Indian lines".

While there are 4 street vendors fined who have had their goods on display seized. Finally, there will be five kids reported to the prefecture because they were found in possession of small quantities of narcotic substances.

At the same time in Casamicciola Terme, the local carabinieri were also busy carrying out checks.

During the operations, the manager of a holiday home in via ed domate was reported. The 4 guests who were inside the accommodation facility had not been registered. A 48-year-old man with no criminal record from Lamezia Terme was reported instead. The man must answer for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing.

The last person reported during the checks was a twenty-six year old from Foligno who was stopped after a short chase, he was found in possession of 16 grams of marijuana. The checks will continue in the coming days.
