It happened yesterday evening at the San Giuseppe Moscati Hospital in Aversa where a 34-year-old woman entered the hospital's post first aid railing against the 32-year-old doctor on duty, throwing the computer , printer.
She had been taken in by that doctor on duty at the emergency room at 17.30:25 pm yesterday, October 18.15, and was waiting for the results of the blood tests before undergoing instrumental tests. At XNUMX:XNUMX pm, called several times to perform them, she was not found inside the hospital structure and for this reason the doctor, believing that the patient had left because she no longer wanted to undergo these tests, had closed the file for abandonment.
After about 10 minutes the patient returned to hospital and when she learned that her file had been closed, she flew into a rage, demanding and obtaining from the doctor that the tests be continued.
At 20.00:XNUMX pm, tired of waiting, she entered the medical station and attacked the doctor, throwing the computer monitor and the printer at her, before leaving together with some relatives with whom she had arrived at the hospital.
Following the attack, the doctor suffered chest trauma and contusions on her arm, which are expected to heal in 30 days.
The security guard on duty at the emergency room, interviewed by the Carabinieri of the radiomobile section of the Aversa Company, who arrived at the hospital following a request to 112, confirmed the version of the facts given by the victim.
The 34-year-old was therefore reported for disruption of public service, personal injury to healthcare personnel and damage.
