On Saturday 19 October, at 21 pm, the prestigious Teatro Bolivar will come alive with the show “A Testa Alta – il diritto delle idee e del plurilinguismo del pensiero”, which will see the talented Isa Danieli as protagonist.

A show of resistance and freedom

The project, produced by Performing Arts, was born from the pen of Mimmo Maglionico & Pietrarsa and features the special participation of Chilean singer Gabriel Aguilera. “A Testa Alta” is presented as a tribute to the resistance against oppression and univocal thought, inspired by the fiftieth anniversary of the coup d’état in Chile.

A cultural journey through music and literature

The show aims to be a musical and literary journey through various cultures, starting from the tales of resistance of South American artists, until arriving in Italy with the melodies of the South, accompanied by the writings of illustrious figures such as Roberto De Simone and Erri De Luca. Isa Danieli, with her interpretation, promises to exalt the courage of those who, throughout history, have challenged power and its impositions.

The 2004/2005 theatre season directed by Nu'Tracks, now in its third edition, opens with this event which intends to celebrate cultural diversity and the right to freedom of thought.
