Ottaviano, presentation of 'Stories of the past, voices of the present' published by Graus Edizioni

Fidapa di Ottaviano is preparing to present the book “Stories of the past, voices of the present”, a collection of stories that celebrates female strength and passion. Published by Graus Edizioni, this text brings together the voices of ten women: Assunta Ferrante, Maddalena Ferraro, Magda Mancuso, Gaetana Morgese, Michela Mortella, Milena Setola, Stefania Starace, Antonietta Sorrentino, Laura Varriale and Manuela Morra.

With the moral patronage of the Municipality of Ottaviano, the book aims to explore and reflect on themes of history and current events, linking past and present through a rich and multifaceted narrative.

A Presentation Event

The book presentation will take place on October 16th at 17:00 pm, in the Council Chamber of the Municipality of Ottaviano. All the authors will be present, offering participants a rare opportunity to hear directly from the voices of those who contributed to this literary project.

The event will begin with institutional greetings from Mayor Prof. Biagio Simonetti, and will be moderated by lawyer Fiorella Saviano.

A Choral Narration

“Stories of the Past, Voices of the Present” is not just a collection of stories, but a mosaic of experiences and reflections.

Each story aims to challenge gender stereotypes, offering the reader words of courage and audacity. The stories reaffirm the value of femininity and the need to continue fighting for emancipation and equality, in a society still too often intent on marginalizing women.

Guests of Honor

Alongside the authors, Vittoria Panarese, president of Fidapa of Ottaviano, and the lawyer Gennaro Famiglietti, consul of Bulgaria, will be present.

Their presence will enrich the dialogue, offering further perspectives on the role and evolution of the female figure in contemporary society.
