The Carabinieri of Nola chased them for 10 kilometers, arresting them after an accident. The criminals, both in their thirties, will have to answer for robbery, receiving stolen goods and resisting a public official. The stolen goods were recovered.

A shattered window, a precariously swinging sign and the inevitable sound of the continuous cash register being torn away: in a few moments, the quiet pharmacy on Via Borgo Corpo di Cristo was transformed into the scene of a criminal action.

A commando of hooded men, strong in the shadow of the night, had burst into the business, spreading panic. But their escape seemed already written: the screams of a witness had woken up the city and the carabinieri of the Nola radiomobile section were already in action.

Sirens howled in the night, cutting the air like sharp blades. The soldiers, equipped and determined, launched themselves in pursuit of the car stolen by the robbers. A race against time, a chase that wound along the dark streets of Cicciano, between sharp curves and endless straights.

On board the car, the criminals desperately tried to lose their pursuers. But the carabinieri, thanks to perfect coordination and in-depth knowledge of the territory, doggedly followed them. Kilometer after kilometer, the distance shortened, until, suddenly, the fugitives' car ended its mad dash against a lamppost.

The violent impact shook the night. The robbers, now surrounded and with no way out, attempted a desperate escape on foot, but were quickly stopped and arrested by the carabinieri. Two thirty-year-olds, their faces covered by balaclavas now uncovered by the light of the torches, found themselves face to face with the law.
