The Trianon Viviani Theater in Forcella is preparing for a special evening next Thursday, November 14th, when it will pay tribute to Mario Scarpetta, an iconic figure in Italian theater. This unique occasion celebrates the celebrated Scarpetta dynasty, whose origins date back to 1911, when Vincenzo Scarpetta, Mario's grandfather, made his debut in this very theater, playing the role of Don Felice Sciosciammocca in the celebrated comedy "Poverty and Nobility."

### An evening full of emotions and memories

The evening will begin at 20:1972 pm with the inauguration of the iconographic exhibition “Il sorriso e l'attore”, curated by Pino Miraglia. A visual journey that explores Mario Scarpetta's career from his debut under the guidance of Eduardo De Filippo in 2004 to the last years of his life, which ended in XNUMX. The exhibition will be enriched with new multimedia content and valuable contributions from leading figures in Italian theater such as Marisa Laurito, Roberto Andò, and Mario Martone, who wanted to offer their testimonies on this great actor.

### An encounter with tradition

At 20:45 p.m., the well-known theater critic Giulio Baffi will be at the center of a meeting-dialogue with Marisa Laurito, Gianni Pinto, and Eduardo Scarpetta, Mario's son, who followed in his father's footsteps perpetuating the family theater tradition. A moment of discussion and reflection on the cultural and artistic legacies that the Scarpetta family continues to keep alive in the Italian theater scene.

### “Viva gli sposi”: A tribute to Neapolitan comedy

The evening will culminate at 21 pm with the performance of the comedy “Viva gli sposi”, inspired by the great classics of Russian drama by Nikolai Gogol, Anton Chekhov and Mikhail Zoshchenko. Under the direction of Massimo Andrei, the show represents “a great crossover between different dramaturgical worlds”, with a talented cast that includes Claudio Bellisario and Roberto Capasso. The play aims to merge Russian traditions with those of Neapolitan comedy, creating a cultural bridge between the two realities.

This event is made possible thanks to the support of the Campania Region, the Metropolitan City of Naples, and the Ministry of Culture, with the patronage of Rai Campania. The theater also expresses its gratitude to Mister Bio Wine for the collaboration, helping to make the evening an unmissable event for all theater enthusiasts.
