A non-EU man of about 30 years old was killed last night in Torre del Greco. His body was found stabbed in via Gurgo, located on the outskirts of the city. It was the residents who noticed the dramatic scene and promptly alerted the emergency services.
The police officers of the Torre del Greco police station intervened on the scene, under the direction of the first director Vincenzo Centoletti. Accompanied by the health personnel of 118, who arrived promptly, the rescue efforts unfortunately proved to be in vain, confirming the death of the man.
The investigation has started quickly. The police are collecting testimonies and analyzing the available surveillance camera footage. From the first findings it seems that the stab wounds inflicted were numerous. The investigators are keeping all investigative hypotheses open to shed light on the incident.
