A new wave of bad weather is about to affect Naples and the whole of Campania. The anticyclone is weakening and an increase in cloudiness is expected in the region on Thursday due to the influx of humid air from the Tyrrhenian Sea. The first rains are expected between the afternoon and evening, destined to intensify on Friday, when showers and even thunderstorms are expected along the coast.
Forecast for the Apennine areas
According to the experts at 3Bmeteo.com, snow is expected to return to the Apennine areas, with the rain/snow limit dropping to 800/1000 meters in the evening. Winds will also intensify during the day, with gusts from the west that could reach 60-70 km/h. The first disturbance is expected to pass south on Saturday, with large clearings arriving from the north that will quickly affect the entire region.
Temperature variations
Temperatures will undergo a significant decrease, especially in the minimum values. In Naples, minimum temperatures will fluctuate around 8°C and maximum temperatures around 13°C, while in Salerno minimum temperatures are expected to be around 7°C and maximum temperatures around 13°C. In Caserta, minimum temperatures will be around 7°C and maximum temperatures around 12°C. In Avellino, minimum temperatures will be around 1°C with maximum temperatures around 9°C, while in Benevento minimum temperatures will be around 1°C and maximum temperatures around 10°C.
Sunday will start with a sunny day, but over the course of the hours an increase in clouds is expected due to the arrival of a second disturbance, which will bring rain and showers starting in the evening, starting from the coastal areas and continuing towards the hinterland.
