A refuge in the heart of Naples
The plot takes place in the spring of 1943 in Naples. While the morning sun is obscured by air raid sirens, a basement comes to life as a shelter from Allied bombings. Here, several figures meet: Bambinella, a femminiello known in the community for his profession and his connections, and Brigadier Raffaele Maione, who has just arrested the young Melina, accused of having killed the Marquis of Roccafusca. Inside the shelter, the dialogue intensifies in an alternation of existential and social reflections, within the walls that reverberate to the threatening sound of bombs. Bambinella and Maione, in a game between accusation and defense, stage a trial before the silent 'judge': the statue of the Immaculate Madonna.
A return to theatre and culture
Reflecting on his return to theater directing, Alessandro D'Alatri expresses enthusiasm for the reopening of theaters. This production marks a continuity with the television series "Il commissario Ricciardi", exploring the stories of two characters already dear to the public: Brigadier Maione and Bambinella. Set in a war-torn Naples, the same actors from the small screen, Antonio Milo and Adriano Falivene, will return to the stage, accompanied by Elisabetta Mirra in the role of Melina. The music by Marco Zurzolo will contribute to enriching the atmosphere of the theater.
Show Schedule
The shows will be held at the following times: Friday, December 6 and 13 at 21:00 p.m., Saturday, December 7 and 14 at 21:00 p.m., and Sunday, December 8 and 15 at 18:00 p.m.

I didn't know that this theater does such interesting things, but I have to say that I like the plot of this play. I hope that the actors are as good as they say, and I want to go and see.
