In the period between 21 and 27 December last, 10 people were reported as illegal parking attendants, 6 of whom were repeat offenders, 114 vehicles were seized, 21 of which were “unhooked” due to the arrival of their owners, and 2588 reports were issued for violations of the Highway Code.
The prefecture of Naples communicates this in a note, explaining that "the targeted prevention and contrast activity to the phenomenon of unauthorized parking and any other form of illegality carried out by the Local Police Command, in implementation of what was planned within the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Safety, chaired by the Prefect of Naples, Michele di Bari”.
The program of checks, started since the beginning of the current year, for the prevention and contrast of the "serious phenomenon", will continue, announces the prefecture, in the coming days and weeks, "thanks to the commitment of the local police to ensure compliance with the law".
