NAPLES – Operations to combat the phenomenon of unauthorized parking by the local police Napoli, according to the provisions of the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Safety, chaired by Prefect Michele di Bari. In the week between November 4 and 9, the Local Police Command, in collaboration with the State Police, the Carabinieri and the Auxiliaries of the Neapolitan Mobility Company, intensified controls in various critical areas of the city, including the Lungomare, the Historic Center, Ponticelli, Fuorigrotta, Chiaiano, Vomero and the hospital area.
During the checks, 24 illegal parking attendants were fined, while 46 individuals were reported for repeat offenders. The operations are part of a broader strategy aimed at reducing illegality related to the illegal management of parking lots, a widespread phenomenon throughout the metropolitan area.
“The checks will continue in the coming days and weeks,” the Local Police Command reports, confirming its commitment to further intensify monitoring and repression activities against illegal activities that threaten security and public order in the city.
