The investigation by the Naples Public Prosecutor's Office, with the Flying Squad and PM Ciro Capasso at work, aims to discover what happened on the night of November 9 in Piazzetta Sedil Capuano. The investigation into the murder of Arcangelo Correra is becoming more intense and is bringing to light new disturbing details. Investigations that have brought to light new elements that confirm the hypothesis of eventual intent: Caiafa knew he was handling a loaded weapon and should have foreseen the consequences of his actions.

The testimonies collected from the young people who frequented both boys contradict Caiafa's version, which speaks of an accident. According to the investigators, the 19-year-old would have tried to stage an accident, but his lies were revealed by the investigations. The discovery of the weapon and the erased traces strengthened the suspicions about his guilt.

The decision of the Review Court was a hard blow for Caiafa's defense. Lawyer De Gregorio announced an appeal to the Supreme Court, but for now the 19-year-old will remain behind bars.

But there is still another aspect to clarify: where the gun came from and why. Renato Benedetto Caiaphas did he challenge it?

  1. It is difficult to understand the situation, there are too many things that do not add up. The court's decision seems right but there are still unanswered questions. We hope that the investigation will bring clarity for everyone, especially for the families involved.
