A new episode of tension has occurred in the "Red Zone" of Piazza Garibaldi where a 65 year old man was stopped by the Guardia di Finanza while, in an evident state of confusion, he was brandishing a machete of 50 centimeters, sowing panic among passers-by.
Alerted by some citizens, the finance police of the Provincial Command of Naples, in collaboration with a patrol of the State Police, intervened promptly, managing to disarm and block the man before he could hurt anyone.

This episode is very worrying and makes you think about how difficult the situation is in the area. The presence of people using weapons in public, such as a machete, is unacceptable and must be addressed by the competent authorities.
I hope that the police can provide more security. It is not possible that such situations occur so frequently. A solution must be found to avoid similar episodes in the future.
