The carabinieri of the company of Agropoli they executed a prison custody order against FG and LM, accused of attempted extortion aggravated and aggravated injuries in competition.
According to the prosecution's reconstruction, the two allegedly attacked a financial promoter in September 2024, using a tubular object and a screwdriver to force him to settle a microcredit case in their favor and to cease his financial activity. They also allegedly threatened to kill the victim's partner, who was present at theaggression.
During the operation, FG was found in possession of a pistol with a scratched serial number and 14 rounds, and was also arrested for illegal possession of a common firearm.
The precautionary measure is appealable and the charges will be examined by the judge in the subsequent phases of the proceedings.
