This is the disturbing modus operandi discovered by the Carabinieri of Nola, who, under the coordination of the Anti-Mafia District Directorate of Naples, dismantled an organization dedicated to drug trafficking with ten arrests.

The investigation led to the registration of 24 people in the register of suspects, including four women. The group was headed by Raffaele Giuliano and Pasqua Teodosio. The organization supplied the drug dealing centers of the Vesuvian area, but was also able to manage large-scale deliveries, feeding the drug markets of Avellino and Palermo.

Gifts to customers and drug preparation videos

A detail that emerged from wiretaps dating back to November 2022 concerns a customer who, ordering crack – “cooked” cocaine with additives – received a video of the preparation from the dealers, a clear incentive for future purchases. In some cases, the pusher They also gave small gifts to regular customers on their birthdays, a gesture that demonstrates the loyalty strategy adopted by the criminal group.

A delivery service with payments via Postepay

The investigation revealed a highly organized drug dealing system, with orders managed via WhatsApp and home deliveries that reached not only the municipalities of Nolano and Vesuviano, but also cities such as Avellino and Palermo. The group accepted payments through top-ups on Postepay cards, using a fast and difficult to trace system.

The operation of Carabinieri led to the execution of ten precautionary measures issued by the GIP of Nola, inflicting a heavy blow to the drug trafficking network active between Campania and Sicily. The investigations continue to identify any other accomplices.
