The agents of the Local Police of Naples, belonging to the Fuorigrotta Operational Unit, intervened in via Giuseppe Testa after the reports of the residents. The latter had reported the presence of a 12-meter-high pressostatic cover, positioned just over two meters from the windows of an adjacent building.
Seizure of the illegal plant
Investigations revealed that the sports facility, intended for padel, lacked the necessary permits for a 1.100 square meter roof. Furthermore, further irregularities were discovered, including the unauthorized construction of three structures used as offices, refreshment areas, and changing rooms, with areas of 27, 20, and 12 square meters, respectively. The ongoing construction of a box-section iron roof covering an additional area of approximately 100 square meters was also discovered.
Measures adopted
The entire area was placed under seizure pursuant to Article 321 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, for violations of Articles 44 and 92 of the Consolidated Law on Building. The Local Police's intervention represents an important step in combating illegal construction and demonstrates their ongoing commitment to safeguarding the city's urban safety.

It is important that the local police intervene in situations like these, but I wonder how it is possible that there are buildings without the right authorizations, this creates problems for all residents in the area. Security is fundamental.
