A widespread operation to combat widespread illegality led the Carabinieri of the Caserta Company to report six people and seize 11 vehicles: the action, coordinated by Captain Giovanni Riacà, took place yesterday from the early afternoon until 22pm, involving 00 patrols and 10 soldiers.
The checks were concentrated in strategic points of the city, with checkpoints in via Falcone and viale Ellittico, as well as in the sensitive areas of the train station and the city center. Overall, 122 people were stopped and 80 vehicles were checked, with 38 fines issued for violations of the highway code, the withdrawal of six licenses and the administrative seizure of a car.
The checks led to the reporting of eight people: three for drunk driving, two for repeated driving without a license, two for use of narcotics and one for misappropriation. The operation is part of a broader plan to combat illegality in the area, with checks that will continue in the coming days.

The operation of the Carabinieri seems to have been very important for the safety of the city, but it is strange that so many people were reported. We hope that these measures can really reduce illegality in the future.
