A 51-year-old man, resident in Cercola, was reported by the State Police for money laundering, counterfeiting and use of state seals. He was also charged with several violations of the Highway Code.
The intervention took place on Wednesday on the A30, near the Palma Campania junction, during a check carried out by the agents of the Nola Highway Police. The vehicle, which had Polish license plates, aroused suspicion, prompting the operators to carry out more in-depth checks.
The investigation revealed that the chassis had been counterfeited and that the car had been stolen in Latina in October 2020, with a previous registration in Italy. The man was reported, while the vehicle was seized.
