Naples – Bitter Easter for two wanted camorra members, from the egg opened early by the police came out the handcuffs. Yesterday afternoon, in fact, the Naples Flying Squad and the agents of the Frattamaggiore Police Station arrested two fugitives linked to the Pezzella clan, operating in the municipalities of Frattamaggiore and Frattaminore.
The two, believed to be close collaborators of the leader of the organization, had escaped the blitz of February 10th during which 20 leaders and affiliates ended up in prison, evading the execution of a custodial remand order.
They are seriously suspected of mafia-type association, extortion – also aggravated by mafia methods – and drug trafficking.
Found with two women, reported for aiding and abetting
The operation, conducted relentlessly by the State Police on behalf of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Naples, led to their identification in a house in Mondragone, where they were hiding together with two women. The latter were reported for personal aiding and abetting.
Il Pezzella clan, according to investigators, is involved in numerous crimes and has consolidated ties over the years with other criminal groups active in the surrounding areas.

It's incredible how the police managed to capture these fugitives. The situation of the Camorra in Naples is really complex and worrying. I hope that the authorities continue to do their job to fight crime.
