Marigliano. The Carabinieri of the Marigliano Forestry Station, together with those of the Marigliano Carabinieri Station, during a service to combat environmental pollution, inspected a warehouse in the local industrial area.
In the over 400 square meters of the structure, the military found the presence of a carpentry shop, a workshop for iron working and a room intended for painting various materials.
The business, managed by a 50-year-old from Pomigliano D'Arco, was conducted without any environmental authorization and the lack of traceability also emerged for the disposal of the waste produced.
In a portion of the structure, approximately 100 square meters of waste of all kinds were stored. Ferrous scrap, paints and solvents stored in a state of total abandonment: a serious threat to the surrounding environment given the lack of proper classification.
The area was seized and the 50-year-old reported for unauthorized emissions into the atmosphere, illegal management and abandonment of waste.
