An eclectic actor and artist, Taiuti has crossed the Italian theatre scene admirably combining tradition and experimentation, ranging from theatre to cinema and simultaneously cultivating his passion for the visual arts and music.
As regards the Annibale Ruccello Prize for Poetry, the Commission, composed of Sergio Iagulli, Giancarlo Cavallo, Raffaella Marzano of the Casa della Poesia di Baronissi and Luca Nasuto and Carmen Matarazzo, creators and organizers of the Stabia Teatro Festival, the recognition was awarded in memory of Marcella Continanza, journalist, author of poetic and prose texts and of precious essays.
Continanza, born in Lucania, adopted by Stabia and finally resident in Germany, was the creator and organizer of the European Poetry Festival in Frankfurt am Main, where the most illustrious names from various European nations passed through. She shared with Annibale Ruccello the attention for social issues and for the marginalized.
