He had threatened to bring immediate eviction proceedings against them if they did not meet his sexual demands.
The victims are women in conditions of very serious socioeconomic hardship who were allegedly harassed and molested by a judicial officer serving at the court of Nocera Inferiore.
This is the picture that emerged from investigations by the Nocera Inferiore prosecutor's office which led, this morning, to the execution of an order implementing a personal and real precautionary measure against the man.
The provision, issued by the investigating judge, was notified by the personnel of the operational section of the territorial department of the Carabinieri and the economic-financial police unit of the Guardia di Finanza of Salerno.
According to the prosecution's statement, largely shared by the investigating judge, a systematic framework of "trafficking of the public function in relation to forced execution and notification procedures" was deemed documented, the prosecutor's office explained.
In fact, serious evidence of a crime was deemed to exist in relation to multiple episodes of aggravated sexual extortion, aggravated sexual violence, disclosure of official secrets and corruption in judicial documents, which emerged within a short period of time, between July and November 2022.
The judicial officer, after the ritual duties, was subjected to the measure of house arrest. A seizure of assets was also carried out, with a value of over 150 thousand euros, which includes securities, deposits and a motorcycle, considered by the investigating judge to be incompatible with the sources of lawful income enjoyed by the suspect.
The prosecution has filed an appeal in relation to the type of measure applied to the public official, less afflictive than that requested, and the failure to apply the precautionary measure to other subjects under investigation. The proceedings are pending, in fact, not only against the public official, but also against entrepreneurs, lawyers and private individuals, who - according to the investigative findings - took part in the corruption agreements in question.
The prosecution recalls, returning to this point, how the investigations have allowed a "serious picture of open and immediate availability of lawyers and private citizens in the formulation or acceptance of corrupt proposals" to emerge.
