Clashes between groups of fans and various disturbances occurred yesterday afternoon outside the “Alberto De Cristofaro” stadium in Giugliano, at the end of the match between Giugliano and Taranto (valid for the Serie C championship), played yesterday and which saw the home team victorious.
According to an initial reconstruction, a group of Giugliano he allegedly attempted to come into contact with some fans of the Apulian team. The police who were on site created a safety cordon: three policemen were injured and had their reports reported by the health workers.
At the moment no people have been reported, the police are also working to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the incident and ascertain the individual responsibilities. The three injured police officers are not in serious condition and immediately received medical care after the episode of aggression.
