As has been happening since September 25, when the course for Ds was inaugurated, this morning the Coverciano auditorium was filled with aspiring sports directors to host the last week of in-person lessons. And the one who kicked off these last three days of live teaching was the sports director of Juventus, Christian Joints, who spoke about his professional experiences and exchanged ideas with the students.
Among the other exceptional lectures scheduled for today are those of Claudio Chiellini and Fabio Gatti, sports directors – respectively – of Juventus Next Gen and Atalanta Under 23, to discuss the second teams. The course includes a total of 144 hours of lessons (24 of which are online) and differs in part based on the chosen address: the students were in fact able to decide whether to follow the one dedicated to training the professional figure of the 'field' ds or the 'sports-organizational' one, more focused instead on regulatory matters, specific for the training of the 'back-office' figure of the secretary.
Among the students admitted to follow the course for Ds there is no shortage of well-known names Football Italian, like the head of the Italian delegation Gianluigi Buffon. The class also includes the 1982 world champion, Daniele Massaro, the former Italian Marta Carissimi, the head of Performance of Sampdoria, Nicola Legrottaglie, and the former Reggina and Sassuolo player, Simone Missiroli.
Among the students there is also the vice president and CEO of Catania, Vincenzo Grella; the current general manager of Catania, Luca Carra; the head of the women's sector of Ternana, Isabella Cardone, and the team manager of Nizza, Simone Ricchio.
