This morning he was identified by the Carabinieri thanks to the images from the surveillance cameras. The 35-year-old local, already known to the police for crimes such as private violence, threats, extortion and robbery, was reported at liberty.
He is considered responsible for the theft that occurred in the late afternoon of March 30 at the laundromat on Via Aldo Moro in Gricignano di Aversa, in the Caserta area.
According to the videos acquired by the military, the man took advantage of the absence of customers in the car wash area. After forcing open the automatic cash machine with a screwdriver, he stole 300 euros in cash and fled, disappearing without a trace. He will now have to answer for aggravated theft.
