The commissioner of Latina has issued four daspo against three Latina Calcio fans and one of theAvellino, following the riots that occurred during the match between Latina Calcio 1932 and US
Avellino 1912 of January 6th, valid for the Lega Pro Girone C championship.The episodes of violence began before the kick-off, when several firecrackers were exploded outside the stadium. During the match, both in the home fans' curve and in the away fans' section, some smoke bombs were lit. The investigative activity of the Latina Digos and the Scientific Police, through the analysis of the images from the video surveillance system, allowed them to identify and report three Latina Calcio fans and one Avellino fan.
The following are the daspo measures issued: one year of daspo for a Latina Calcio fan and one for Avellino for lighting smoke bombs inside the stadium. Two years of daspo for another Latina Calcio fan, who attempted to break down the gate that separates the stands from the playing field with his face covered.
Five years of DASPO, with the obligation to report to the Police Stations during Latina Calcio matches, for a Latina fan already subjected to a DASPO by the Pescara Police Headquarters, still in force, for having lit a firecracker outside the stadium before the start of the match.
