Naples. During an anti-drug operation in Scampia, the State Police arrested a 26-year-old Neapolitan and seized a gun, a kilo of hashish and two kilos of marijuana.
The agents of the Scampia Police Station, assisted by the Canine Unit of the General Prevention Office, searched a villa in via Cupa Vicinale dell'Arco. The investigators' intuition led to the discovery of a false bottom under the chimney of the annex, where a Beretta 9×21 pistol with the serial number erased, ammunition and material for the maintenance of the weapon were hidden.
In the basement, the police seized 10 blocks of hashish for a total weight of about 1 kg. In a secondary avenue, several packages of marijuana were found for a weight of about 1,5 kg.

Finally, inside the tavern, 6.710 euros in cash, precision scales, vacuum machines, tools for packaging drugs and traces of narcotic substances were found.
The man, a 26-year-old from Naples, was arrested for possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing, possession of an illegal weapon and reported for illegal possession of ammunition.
