Tomorrow, Monday 22 July, sudden and intense thunderstorms are expected across Campania from 9:00 to 23:59.
The Civil Protection of the Region has issued a weather alert with yellow code for hydrogeological risk.
The thunderstorms will be intense and could be accompanied by hail, gusts of wind and lightning.
Attention must be paid to the hydrogeological risk: among the main consequences of the impact of rain and storms on the ground are flooding, increase in the hydrometric levels of watercourses, flow of water on road surfaces, runoff with transport of material, fall boulders and landslides also taking into account the saturation of the soil or conditions of hydrogeological fragility of the land.
Because of the gusts of wind and hail, the competent authorities will also have to monitor public greenery and the correct maintenance of structures exposed to stress.
