The City of Caserta, following the approval of a resolution that took place during the last City Council, has issued the authorization provision for the demolition and reconstruction of some buildings of the “Sant'Anna e San Sebastiano” hospital in Caserta, which will be the subject of a large-scale renovation project.
This project will allow the city to have a modern, cutting-edge structure, with the presence of new operational units, equipped with high technologies.
This measure follows another authorization that the Municipality had already issued and which concerns the creation of spaces where nuclear diagnostics can be located and where chemotherapy and radiotherapy can be carried out.
“Thanks to this important funding and the commitment of the Campania Region – explained the Mayor of Caserta, Carlo Marino – we will have a new hospital, with all the most modern technologies, which will guarantee citizens the best available care.
As an Administration, we quickly granted all the necessary authorizations for the construction of both the expansion of the hospital and the demolition and reconstruction of an important part of the structure.
The project is impressive, it allows our city to take another big step in the field of healthcare and represents a perfect example of institutional synergy between the Campania Region, the Hospital Trust and the Municipality of Caserta”.
