Law enforcement is on his trail following a warrant for his arrest.
The young Grimaldi had been arrested in February 2023 with a Beretta pistol, but had been released from prison last May.
However, his freedom was short-lived: a new judicial order forced him back behind bars, but this time he managed to disappear.
The Grimaldi family, after a period of difficulty, appears to have regained strength. The release from prison of Daniele and Francesco Scognamillo, combined with Ciro Granillo's fugitive status and the earlier release of Pasquale Grimaldi, have strengthened the criminal group.
With key figures from the Vigilia rivals still in custody, the Grimaldis appear to have gained the upper hand in Soccavo. This situation is fueling concerns among law enforcement, who fear a new escalation of violence.
And in particular there is fear of a resumption of armed hostilities with the enemy group Vigilia.
