Federdistat Cisal expresses great satisfaction for the historic signing of the agreement on the new Fire Brigade detachment at the Mostra d'Oltremare, made official on 31 October 2024.
The agreement, the result of collaboration between Prefect Renato Franceschelli, the State Attorney's Office of Campania, the regional management of the State Property Agency and the Municipality of Naples, marks the end of years of intense union commitment.
“As Federdistat Cisal we have constantly maintained high attention on this serious organizational deficiency,” declared the general secretary Antonio Barone, “repeatedly denouncing the problems arising from the impossibility of using a fundamental garrison for the safety of Neapolitan citizens.
Our commitment has contributed to this long-awaited result". The agreement provides for the allocation, by the Department of Fire fighters, the resources needed to build a modern and efficient structure, compliant with the latest standards in seismic safety and energy efficiency.
“This agreement,” Barone highlighted, “represents a victory for the safety of citizens and for all firefighters, who will finally be able to operate in a location suited to the rescue needs of a strategic area of the city.”
