Music from every century resonates at the Domus Ars in Naples
Naples is preparing to host a series of musical events that promise to offer a journey through the centuries of music. On Friday, November 8, at 19 p.m., the Domus Ars in via Santa Chiara 10 will be the stage for the Duo Nuances, composed of Michele De Martino and Salvatore Della Vecchia. The event is part of the musical festival “Tutta un'altra musica”, conceived by the Fondazione Il Canto di Virgilio. The duo will propose a repertoire that includes references to classical composers such as Ludwig van Beethoven and Gioachino Rossini, as well as the Neapolitan luthier Raffaele Calace.
This is not just a return to the roots, as the Duo Nuances, previously directed by masters such as Riccardo Muti and Zubin Mehta, intends to demonstrate the potential of the mandolin, an instrument that goes far beyond folklore. Among the pieces on the program, participants will be able to enjoy arrangements of works by Bach and Chopin.
The following day, Saturday, November 9, again at 19:XNUMX p.m., the audience will be transported into a musical adventure entitled “Le forme dei emozioni”. The concert will feature cellist Luca Signorini and pianist Paola Volpe, performing pieces by Robert Schumann, Claude Debussy and César Franck, creating a spiritual journey between impressionism and romanticism.
