The Carabinieri of the Bagnoli Company arrested a young 21-year-old worker, with no criminal record, resident in Casoria, for illegal possession of explosive material. The arrest occurred after the military discovered a large quantity of fireworks hidden in a box to which the young man had access.
The seized material includes over 700 “Cobras”, 17 artisanal “onions” and 3 kilograms of various fireworks, prohibited for sale to minors under 14 or 18. Given the position of the box, located in the basement of a building, the Carabinieri of the Artificer Unit of the Provincial Command of Naples intervened to ensure the safety of the area.
All explosive materials were secured and confiscated. The young man is now under house arrest, awaiting further judicial developments.
