The police stopped a man living in the Aversa area, already known to the police, finding him in possession of illegal weapons and tools to modify them.
A sixty-year-old man was arrested in Caserta for illegal possession of weapons . During a check, officers discovered a hidden compartment in the dashboard of his car containing two illegal pistols and ammunition. One of the weapons was a modified blank pistol, while the other, in perfect working order, had its serial number removed.
The man, with numerous criminal records, also had tools for the manufacture of altered weapons. He was taken to prison.
