The police stopped a man living in the Aversa area, already known to the police, finding him in possession of illegal weapons and tools to modify them.
A sixty-year-old man was arrested in Caserta for illegal possession of weaponry. During a check, the officers discovered a hidden compartment in the dashboard of his car, containing two clandestine pistols and ammunition. One of the weapons was a modified blank pistol, while the other, perfectly functional, had the serial number erased.
The man, with numerous criminal records, also had tools for the manufacture of altered weapons. He was taken to prison.
